Free vCard QR code generator
Fill in your contact details and download a code that adds you to someone's address book when scanned. Everything is built in your browser: the details you type are not sent to any server.
A name or a company is required. Long contact cards make denser codes that are harder to scan: keep only what you need.
Fill in the form and your code appears here.
A vCard code is static: the contact is inside the code and it works without LimeQR.
How to use it
- Enter a name or a company. Everything else is optional.
- Add only the fields you need. More text makes a denser code that is harder to scan at small sizes.
- Download the code, scan it with a phone to check the contact opens correctly, then print it.
Questions
What format is used?
vCard 3.0 with CRLF line breaks. Commas, semicolons, backslashes and line breaks inside values are escaped so they do not break the card.
Does this QR code expire?
No. The contact details are inside the code, so it works without any service. If your phone number or email changes, the printed code still holds the old one.
Are my details stored?
No. The card is built in your browser and never sent anywhere.
Why is my code so dense?
A QR code grows with the amount of text it holds. Drop the address or the job title to get a simpler code.
Need to change the destination after printing?
LimeQR dynamic codes point to a short link you can edit. Change the destination after printing, paid once: $19.
